Junk Drawer

Remember last year when I posted here nearly everyday? How in the world did I do that? I wonder and wish at the same time it could be so again. But alas, life seems to have dumped the junk drawer out on my lap. So what's to do but dig in and sort the minutiae piece by piece.

The good news is, bit by bit tasks are being accomplished, meetings attended, appointments met, papers signed, funds dished out, and teenage drama subdued (fingers crossed on this one!)
Getting your ducks in a row can certainly be time consuming but also.....

.....very rewarding. Once the big picture starts to reveal itself the light at the end of the tunnel begins to flicker.

Currently I'm pinning down the final details...

...sending things off to appropriate recipients...

....and all the while keeping my fingers crossed that the "junk drawer" stays tidy long enough to get my hands really dirty with some serious crafting again!!!

  1. I think it is hard. I do really well for awhile but then I get side-tracked and I mean REALLY side-tracked. Sometimes I feel like I am busy for weeks on end. Doing? I honestly couldn't even tell you. Then I feel like I need a break and before you know it, it's been a month, two months.

I am really trying to hold my family together. Teens are so hard and so very resistant. But that is taking a lot of my ingenuity and energy right now.

    1. "Doing?"
      How true is that!!!
Seems there is always something to be done and with teens I find more often than not it's brought to my attention at the last moment and with quite a sense of urgency! And so the race is on but yeah, once all is said and done it's hard to pin point exactly what it was you accomplished or why it took so long.

Creating with your hands is a whole different story....the results are tangible and the process almost always PEACEFUL!
