Made Use of My Painted Buttons

Hmmm. . . . . seeing the little buttons in a whole different light today and I think I like them. Could be I'll give another go at painting some more. . . . .minus the coffee!

  1. That looks perfect with the pink gingham and the green print. I had never thought of painting wooden buttons. Very good idea.

  2. That button is so pretty! Painting wooden buttons is a lovely idea. What kind of paint do you use?

  3. I'd love to get some larger buttons with a flat area to try painting on next. Will have to keep my eyes open. As far as the paint goes I use a basic craft acrylic that I usually pick up at Joann's or Micheals. If you look back to my egg cup posts for January 16th and 19th you can see some of the paint bottles in the pictures. Once dry I always give a quick coat of gloss varnish over the paint...it makes the colors much more vibrant and helps prevent chipping. Fun, fun, fun!
