I've been working on a batch of Hitty capes for my crafty wish ticket this week but am afraid I'm going to have to postpone my reveal of the work a bit beyond Wednesday (alteration #1.) They've been feeling a bit "clunky" when put on the doll and I wasn't sure how to remedy the situation. Until, that is, I dug out some books for a bit of research. Seems the majority of wee wanderers wear a cape that falls slightly above the hemline as opposed to the floor length version I'd been creating. This afternoon I did a quick mock up sample and loved the results so it it appears there's now a fair share of clipping and hemming ahead of me (alteration #2.)
