This morning we awoke to find our anticipated receipt of several inches of snow had blossomed into more than a foot! While the initial excitement of a "no school day" call followed by a cozy spell of window gazing with a hot cuppa were a delightful start to our Friday, the ensuing hours of shoveling left much to be desired. As I sit here now with achy arms and frost nipped toes I am thinking it is high time for a change in season.
Oh how I agree...however, yesterday's snow day was a much needed break from the Science Fair hoopla we've been enduring all week...understand, this was a REQUIRED science fair, complete with oral report, tri-fold display board containing required info and written lab report...to be graded.

DeleteAnd here we are with just the slightest flurries in Dublin, Ireland and I long to be snowed in and see the landscape beautifully clothed in that pure white - where all imperfections are obliterated and everything looks pretty! We humans are never satisfied. I envy you all. Carol :)

DeleteToday is supposed to reach 102 degrees on my part of the globe (Sth Aus). Definitely time for a season change. Just a cool breeze would be welcome... and the garden needs a giant umbrella!
