Beads or Blossoms?

Quiet time during our most recent snowstorm was used to sketch a bit with needle and thread. I knew I wanted a slight crazy quilt appeal for the red velvet and thought some seed beads would be a fun addition.

 Turned out they weren't.
My overall impression was blah and the process....NOT VERY FUN!
Those little things were more than frustrating to work with.

So good old embroidery work it will be!

    1. Many thanks! The red velvet is much sturdier than I would have thought considering how soft it is to the touch!

  3. So pretty. Red and gold very opulent! I sew beads on anything. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. They cover my mistakes.

    1. I think you have something there....it's the spartan quality to my beading that I don't like. More beading would indeed be much more appealing! Now to just get my fingers to cooperate...
