Made a Grab Bag

On the way to the market this afternoon I made a quick pit stop at Joann's. It had to be quick because dear hubby was in tow.

I went to pick up this skein of ivory Perle Cotton I needed for the ties on one of the Hitty capes.....

.....but managed to find oh so much more! Quite an amazing feat when you consider  hubby was hovering and I was under intense pressure to grab and go.

Don't you just love having new colors to play with!

  1. So happy to find your blog!! I love to sew and am new to doll making so I just love looking at all of your beautiful work! Your clothespin dolls and pincushions are ADORABLE!!! I would love to be able to make some of those little cuties, gave it a try a couple years ago but it just was too hard and they didn't come out good at all... I see you have a tutorial , I might just give it another try... ;0

  2. I've been dropping in on your blog for awhile now, but never commented. One thing that brings me back (apart from all the pretties) is your happiness. This truly is a lovely blog. And I know what you mean by pressure when you're out buying important stuff and your male counterpart is following you. My mantra is 'don't stop, don't look, just get the necessity'. Nice to say hello.
